Well hey there~

So last week I mentioned that I something exciting coming up, yes?
Well that just happened to be my Christmas present from my Dad which was tickets to see the musical WICKED at the Victoria Apollo Theatre in London!! He purchased 6 tickets so that my sister, my dad and I could all go and take one other. So naturally I took my boyfriend! Although he had already seen it on Broadway so I am major jelly!
Cameron and I went up to London to meet some friends for Lunch at my favourite restaurant around the corner from Trafalgar Square be for heading around to Goldhawk road to grab some material (Sadly for my mother and not myself ;___; I'm too poor to afford cosplays right now.) at about 5pm we headed back to Victoria station to meet up with My Dad and his friend Amanda for a drink before going to dinner at 6. My Sister had work that day so her and her boyfriend missed dinner and just met us in the theatre.
I didn't get a program as I already have one at home.... yes... it's not the first time I've seen WICKED... in fact... it's my 4TH!! Do you see why this is so exciting for me?
The only problem in not buying a program is not knowing of any cast changes, but thankfully Amanda bought one. There were four cast changes. We had an understudy for Galinda, as well as Madam Morrible, the Wizard and Doctor Dillamond. I wasn't too keen on the Galinda, she certainly had a wonderful voice but you could tell she was struggling on a couple of songs (Popular in particular) and she did mess up a couple of her lines in a noticeable way, but that's just me being picky xD However I thought the understudy Wizard was just fantastic! Even better than when I've previously seen it! Despite the fact he didn't actually get to finish a key sentence, haha. Elphaba was just phenomenal, such a powerful beautiful voice! I'll be honest and say I cried many times throughout, mainly on her songs c': Deifying Gravity was just superb, although I couldn't help giggle a bit at the lines ' As someone told me lately: "Everyone deserves the chance to fly!" ' because that's what the Wizard is supposed to say... but he didn't get the line out (⌒▽⌒)ノ
Still, despite a few hick-ups it was fantastic and I really want to see it again *____*
After the show Amanda wanted to get her program signed, so we waited by the stage door. After we got signatures from both Elphaba and Galinda we headed back to Wetherspoons for a drink... only for Galinda to be in there xD

It was such an amazing day~ It would be a dream to get the chance to go backstage and look at all the costumes! I really want to make some of them *o*

But anyway!! That's enough boasting from me xD

Hey Chick-a-dees~~ How's it going?

Just thought I'd give a little update on my new years resolution!
I'm succeeding in one area (YAAAYY!!) But failing in about (BOOOOOO!!!... sort of)
I'm succeeding in fixing my diet with the help of my amazing boyfriend who knows how down I have been about it. I'm going a low carb diet where I can only eat 20g-70g of carbs a day. EXCEPT on saturdays! Which is cheat day, best day of the week <3 So naturally when I was up visiting him last weekend we went all out on cheat day and made Banofee pie (Our favorite <3)  a GIANT Chocolate Bar!! _{I apologize for my skanky looking finger in the first picture :c I burnt it at the beginning of December} It was huuuuge, and very sickly. It was made up of 6 layers that included Crunchies, Double Deckers, mini marshmellows, Maltesers and Oreos all stuck together with white chocolate and milk chocolate!
But still, despite having such a cheat day I've still managed to loose an inch off my waist! ヘ(^o^ヘ)(ノ^o^)ノ

The failing part is that I have added another cosplay to my list this year >___> My friends are cosplaying from Kuroshitsuji at Ayacon so I've decided to join them as Lizzie <3  
This is the outfit I'm going! Isn't it adorable?! Most of the ones she wears in the anime have such hideous colour schemes so I'm really glad I found this one! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

That's all for the moment! I have something exciting (for me) coming up next weekend so I guess until then~

Happy New Year ＼（＾０＾）／ Hope you all had as wonderful a time as I did!
I went all the way up to Scotland to spend it with my boyfriend. I was so nervous as it was my first time meeting his family (/;°ロ°)/ But they were all so lovely, I really had nothing to worry about in the end!

Do you have any new years resolutions?
Mine is to fix my diet! That and cutting down on cosplay... ヽ( T дT)ノ
I don't really have the funds nor the time to do as much as I used too (I've done more than what's on here, I just rarely get proper photos >___>) plus cosplay actually really stresses me out... woops! Thus I have come to the conclusion that I will be cancelling almost all the groups I'm in this year seeing as most of them I'm only doing so I can cosplay from the same series as friends, but I don't actually want to cosplay that character~

My cosplay plans for the year are:

C.C. Cheshire Cat - Code Geass: Nunnally in wonderland (For an evening at Ayacon only and like the maid and bunny girl, it's unlikely that if I get any pictures, that they will go up here >__<)
Dead Master - Black Rock Shooter OVA

Contentions I want to attend:

Gemucon in April (Only a maybe at the moment)
London MCM Expo in May, this is where I'm hopefully doing CHAM! At the moment I'm only planning to go for one day, but someone might be able to convince me to go for the Sunday too xD)
Ayacon in August,
London MCM Expo in October, I should be going for the whole weekend this time and it's where I'll most likely cosplaying Dead Master! Really excited for that cosplay as I've wanted to do her since the OVA first came out!!

There are others I might attend like Midlands or Hyper Japan but it depends who's going~

Hello again.. xD
A lot has happened since I last made a journal seeing as it's been a whole YEAR! and a total of 8 conventions! xD Oh dear...Be prepared for a wall of text! I'll try keep each section relatively brief :'D

Midlands Expo
First time going~ It was actually pretty good c: I went to Zeppie's house for the night before, where we just derped about, nothing too interesting there xD
Zeppie and I cosplayed Rule 63!Koutetsu and Barnaby, Tstsuko and Barnababy It was a pretty chill day we wandered for a bit before setting up camp on some comfy chairs where we could be seen/ we could see everyone. So that every now and again people we knew would come up to us and chat. It was a week before my birthday so Zeppie had made me a white chocolate cheesecake *¬* and a present~ The present being the pink bunny that Tiger gives Barnaby for his birthday 8D It even had little striped pants and a jacket on <3 It was just too adorable!

Hyper Japan
My birthday! Haha! xD
I decided not to go on the friday as that was the day of my birthday and I wanted to invite my friends around to chill~
Honestly, I don't really remember much of HJ :C It didn't really make much of an impression on me. I wore Lolita on the saturday and switched between Madoka and Barnababy on the Sunday. I don't have a clue what I did on the saturday evening, but on the Sunday I went out to dinner with my Tiger and Barnaboy _{Basically the Tiger and Barnaby I do my genderbent with xD} and a few others~

Kitacon
Kitacon was AMAZING. But I don't really remember much :V But that's what I get for drinking all weekend 8D
We were sneakily cramming 5 people into our hotel room along with these huge Strength_{from Black Rock Shooter} arms! It was a bit of a tight squeeze. Especially as Ben had brought his sewing machine to finish his cosplays! Woops xD
The Thursday was pretty chill, Ben, Zeppie, Yuki and I _{Lettie was arriving on the friday}all head off into Birmingham to buy alcohol and food for the weekend. _{Ben wanted to by a new shirt hence trekking into the city centre and not going to one of the local shops.} After getting back to the hotel and sorting the room out I think we got our con badges and just chilled and hung out with friends.. I don't really remember xD
On the Friday I cosplay Ranka Lee during the day. I just flitted around seeing friends most of the day until it was time for the open ceremony... that's when the drinking started! I don't even know what it was that I had, but I was gone pretty quick! After the opening ceremony I had a few photographs taken... most have the caption 'drunk Ranka' because I kept falling over :C I don't understand how people can walk in heels when drunk!! D; Anyway, for the evening I changed into Bunny Girl C.C of which there are only two pictures that I know of because I'm a pro at avoiding cameras _{Or maybe it's because I spent the whole time dancing in the rave and missed my photoshoot with my bunny group.... woops s:}
Saturday evening was boring and had much less drunken antics as my back was really playing up, so I spent the evening in my room with Zeppie watching Adventure Time xD During the day I cosplayed Goddess Madoka and just wandered around chatting to friends and such c: it was really chill~
On the Sunday _{the final day ;___;} I cosplayed Nunnally during the day and early evening before changing into a formal Barnababy for the party~ In the morning I was apart of the cosplay chess run by yuka-rin. It was stressful trying to get everyone together as cosplayers are SO hard to organise xD She does it so well! Haha! This is definitely the high light of it! After we'd finished I sat down with some friends to have a spot of lunch, but  I was so tired that I fell asleep using my Nunnally skirt as a pillow, whilst I was still wearing it! After lunch, Yuka then grabbed me for a few photos as she was cosplaying Rolo~ During our photoshoot I was still so tired that I actually fell asleep! xD Good think Nunnally is blind so I had my eyes shut throughout the shoot ;D I could tell you about the evening.... but I don't actually remember it B| I remember a friend giving me a bottle of Rum, and a bottle of Southern Comfort... and then everything else is from what others have told me about my night! Oh dear :'D
All in all, it was good fun, and a bit of a blurr! xD

May Expo
Expo was pretty crap really :/ I had actually organised to see people this time where as usually I just wander through and hope for the best. I thought I'd get around to seeing more people this time, but instead I saw less. The Friday I wore Manami from LIFE again with Zeppie as Ayumu <3 Then for the Saturday and Sunday I wore LSP from Adventure Time. I really wasn't feeling Expo at all as two of my cosplays had fallen through one due to confidence wearing it and another due to funds. Usually I don't buy anything at conventions, but to cheer myself up I bought the Madoka figurine! I am so glad I did~ xD

Japan Expo
Not a lot happened to be quite honest xD It was absolutely amazing, but there's just not a lot to say~ I cosplayed 3 of the 4 days. Don't remember who though lol. I spent loads of money, one of my favourite artists was there selling her books so I bought them *¬* along with loads of other little bits for my friends! Had a bit of a downer as my back was pretty bad throughout the weekend and I collapsed on the last day  >___< I ended up having to leave early to go back to the hotel and missed half of the last day D;

Amecon
Overall? It was ok. Had a few ups and downs of the weekend. The friday traveling up there was absolutely awful! Everything that could go wrong, went wrong.
On the way to the station, I get hit with really bad traffic in a place where there is NEVER traffic. I think, "it's ok, I still have enough time to catch my train!"
Get to the station, all the ticket machines are down and the queue is HUGE! I manage to get my ticket, but I miss the train... It's ok, I can get the next one and I should be ok as long as nothing else goes wrong!
Get to London Bridge... my bag breaks on the platform... great, try to carry it in such a way that it won't get worse.
Get to the barriers... my ticket has gone. I am in fits of tears by this point, so much so that the guy just lets me through. Cheers! xD
Get to the tub station to top up my oyster card since I no longer have a ticket to get me through London. My bad breaks even MORE.... Oh fuck...
I'm now with my friend Marisa who I was supposed to meet on the train that I missed. She thankfully waited and London Bridge and helped me carry my stuff which was now spilling out of the broken bag.
We manage to catch out booked train by the skin of our teeth. But I was a broken down mess. Then I hear this 'Excuse me Miss, Are you ok?' look up, and it's Lise! She realises it's me and I fall into her arms crying more.. She was like my angel xD Lise Marisa and I then gather up everything putting it all in bin bags that Marisa luckily had with her and walked down the train to find Rochelle.
I thought that's it! No more bad luck!
I was wrong... we got off a stop too early oTL We managed to get a Taxi to Amecon and registered and everything, but then find out that our so called 'On-site' accommodation isn't actually on-site. Okay, whatever, I just want to get to my room.
So we finally get to our accommodation, only to find out they'd screwed up the booking =_____= So they take me to one room to then come back 10minutes later to tell me sorry, you can't have this room, here I'll take to another room in this building over here!
At last! I am sorted! I can get into cosplay and go enjoy the convention! Or not as I was in such a state that after getting half  ready I through a hissy-fit taking off my cosplay only to then curl up in it and sleep missing the whole first day xD
After that, everything was pretty cool C': I went out partying in the evening where I met Cameron, my now boyfriend thanks to King-OfTheWorld for introducing us xD
On the saturday I cosplayed Ranka again during the day, and Maid C.C with my Maid group in the evening which I successfully avoided getting lots of pictures of just like the bunny suit! Although I did get a few group shots with them this time as I felt bad about Kita :V On the Sunday I wore a dress made for a friends photography project. She's a ghost called  'The White Lady of Canvey'  _{I should probably upload some of the pictures from that photoshoot lol.} In the evening I was back in the Bunny suit. Although I wore my Tiger Kigu there as it's bloody cold and I walked from the accommodation as on the way, I was the one going as my group all went out for dinner I think _{I had no money ;__; The only reason I managed to drink in the evening was because I got others to buy me drinks xD} It's a bloody good thing that I did wear the kigu though, as my group literally LEFT ME BEHIND on the way back =____= What a way to ruin a good night D;

October Expo
After having a run of not very good events this year for one reason or another. I really didn't want to go. But I did, and I'm SO glad since I had a wonderful time!
Friday was really nice, I was cosplaying Barnababy~ Zeppie and I went out to get Katsu curry from Central as usual then just sat in the room and chilled with 4 others we were sharing a room with. Saturday I was cosplaying Nunnally for the last time and Zep and I just wandered around Expo seeing people. It was so lovely and relaxed xD I had wanted to go out drinking in the evening with friends after we'd eaten but we ordered Dominos and it took over 2 HOURS to arrive! By the time we had finished I really couldn't be bothered xD
Sunday was probably my favourite day despite a HUGE hiccup and me spending the majority of it in tears :'D
I cosplayed  Snow White in her Designer Dolls outfit! Street-Angel had gathered all 10 princesses! After getting ready we all gathered in the upper lobby of the Aloft hotel where we were staying to practice our skit before making our way down to the Disney meet. Once there we had a few pictures taken but then my back got really bad... and I collapsed >___< The girls caught me before I fell and lowered me down on to the floor where I ended up staying for at least an hour! I was hoping that I would be able to get up and walk but it was getting closer and closer to the meeting time for the masquerade and I wasn't getting any better. So Street-Angel went to go buy my ticket. However they wouldn't let her because 'We have to put in on ourselves' So she then goes running down to the information desk to try and get me a wheelchair ;____; She came back to where we were sitting, took me to get my ticket. Then whizzed into the Dealers hall so we could get in line to be judged for the masquerade. The afternoon went on and it was finally time for the masq. I had hoped I'd be able to walk again by then.. but no... I was then asked if I still wanted to do the masq and they'll re-organise the skit or we can not do it. Me being me and bloody stubborn xD I said yes and they re-arranged the skit so that I could go on in the wheelchair! I'm so glad I did because I had so much fun xD But straight after we needed to give back the chair, so one of the staffers and NavigatorxNami our Rapunzel took me back to the hotel where I changed out of Snow. Sunday being the last chance to meet up with people and go drinking, I then slowly stumbled my way down the ExCel centre with the help of three separate friendship groups before I finally got to Fox's Bar and got my self a drink. Thank god I did, because the pain was numbed pretty quickly xD I got to chill with all the people I missed over the weekend and even met Cameron's little sister! MiniPlum I was so nervous but she's so lovely! I'm glad I got to spend time with her, Emi-zone and King-OfTheWorld and co. Thank you for a lovely evening <3

Hyper Japan Christmas</u
It was very 'meh'. There were only three good points about the event. Going there with Cameron <3, the cosplay competitions and going out with friends in the evening. Due to my back playing up all day on the saturday, I spent it sitting down watching the stage. Nothing really interested me apart from ECG and WCS which were on quite late in the afternoon. I'm SO proud of my friends Lettie and Clood for winning a place as the UK reps for ECG groups and are now going to Paris to preform in the finals at Japan Expo next year! They cosplayed the Witchking and Frodo from The Lord of the Rings. Also a huge congrats to yuka-rin and her friend for wining a place as the UK reps for WCS! On the saturday we went out for Korean BBQ with Lettie, Clood and a few others~ Including one of the organisers of ECG xD Then on the sunday we went out for Pizza with lameninja and co! Both evenings were lovely, chilled out and fun c:


THAT'S IT! That's everything that's happened this past year cosplay/convention wise xD There have been lots of ups and downs~ Although there have been more downs... the few ups have been absolutely amazing <3
Like the fact that I now have the most adorable little kitten that I have named Nunnally! Oh, and getting a boyfriends too ;D Have an adorable picture of the two of them <3 fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net…

But anyway... I think I should really learn to update more so that I don't get stuck doing this every time... :'D

I have never had so much fun at an Expo before..

During the week leading up to Expo My darling Zeppie came to stay with me! I still hadn't finished my cosplays so we just hung out whilst I sewed xD but it was still fun C:
We watched Kimi wa Petto *_____* _{Momo <3}   and the Paradise Kiss movie _{Don't watch it as something related to ParaKiss though. Much more enjoyable when you think of it as something different.}
Anyhoo~ It was a good week and I was so happy to see her again <3 but now.. on to the expo journal!!

Friday!
Friday was my favourite day. Although there was a bit of derp in the morning ( I forgot to print out our Expo tickets and ended up missing our train) We managed to meet up with everyone at the train station still and head to the hotel together. Where we all changed into our cosplays and headed off to the ExCel! Zeppie and I were cosplaying Fem! Barnaby and Fem! Koutetsu from Tiger and Bunny <3 We had plushies with us _{made by Zeppie} and we wanted to see how many T&B fans would let us take a picture of them holding the plushies!
As soon as we had gotten off the DLR and were standing outside the ExCel, a Keith found us. Our day was made in that instant as we found exactly what we wanted _{huuuuuungh Keith <3} And then an Ivan and we were practically glued to them for the rest of the day. My Barnaboy (Laura <3) also found us rather quickly although I was surprised she was doing it on the friday xD Then followed the most Adorable Ivan/person I have ever met/will ever meet. We hung out with them for a little while outside and then proceeded inside and sat down at S1. That was our T&B base.  We just hung out there the whole day gaining and loosing T&B cosplayers xD I only went inside the actual Expo once, and that was on the friday! I bought some T&B things we found in the artist alley and Zeppie bought some No.6 stuff C:
In the evening Zeppie and I went off into China town with Ben and Lettie along with some others. It was good fun xD We just went from Purikura and then dinner, but I still hadn't finished my saturday cosplay so we didn't stay for dinner. Instead we went and got Japanese Take Away as I was CRAVING Chicken Katsu Curry _{mmmmmm curry *licks lips*}
So we went back to the hotel with our food and I got started on finishing my cosplay!

Saturday!
Goddess Madoka time!
I was still gluing gems on the inside of the skirt on the Saturday morning xD I had fallen asleep doing it :')
Well After finishing the gems it was coming to about 1pm! a@ Missed most of the day, but it was worth it!
As soon as we got to the ExCel we went on a hunt for our photographer! Got few pictures on the way and met up with a friend of Zeppies before hand.  I also saw the guy I was buying a Madoka Nendroid off! : D
Anyhoo~ We had our photoshoot (pictures will be posted once I get them) which was great fun! After that photoshoot we had a professional one done with FotoBartlett. It was great!
Then we just sat down with some of the AFB and rested our feet! Our toes felt like mushrooms from wearing heels all day for both friday and saturday! ;___;
The saturday evening was amazing! We went to a meet~ We didn't know anyone at first but then someone I knew turned up so we chatted for a bit outside before the group migrated into the Fox's Bar. And then I made a fool of my self by spilling Toasties drink everywhere ;____; I felt so terrible! I bought her a new one but I still felt bad.. As there was no space in the Bar we all sat down on the floor and chatted before splitting off into separate groups. 10 of us then went on to a room party~ although 2 left before it even started! I'd love to go into detail, but we are all sworn to secrecy ;D
I was supposed to leave earl so I could finish my sunday cosplay, but we were having too much fun xD

Sunday!

Sooooooo I was making my hat as we walked around the expo 8D
I got most of it finished but didn't get to finish the face... Still did my photoshoot though..
After the shoot, I ran into one of the guys from the meet and hung with him for a bit, until Zeppie got back after hanging out with her friends whom she was cosplaying with. I felt like a third wheel at that point so I went for a wander whilst Zeppie and Matt flirted awkwardly xD _{They so cute ;__; the perfect couple! I hope they get together} After coming I poked my head around the corner to make sure I wasn't interrupting but felt I would have been so I just sat there and spied on them. But met up with Saffie and cuddled up to her for a little while whilst still spying xD
We then saw Toastie and hung out with her until we had to leave ;3;

After leaving everyone I went off to go and have some dinner with the AFB <3 it was lovely finally getting to hang out with them properly as our plans clashed Dx On the way home I could already feel the Post Con Blue coming on ;___;
I hate  the end of expo DX

I miss everyone so much! Thank you for such a wonderful time! <3<3<3<3
