It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Happy New Year ＼（＾０＾）／ Hope you all had as wonderful a time as I did!
I went all the way up to Scotland to spend it with my boyfriend. I was so nervous as it was my first time meeting his family (/;°ロ°)/ But they were all so lovely, I really had nothing to worry about in the end!

Do you have any new years resolutions?
Mine is to fix my diet! That and cutting down on cosplay... ヽ( T дT)ノ
I don't really have the funds nor the time to do as much as I used too (I've done more than what's on here, I just rarely get proper photos >___>) plus cosplay actually really stresses me out... woops! Thus I have come to the conclusion that I will be cancelling almost all the groups I'm in this year seeing as most of them I'm only doing so I can cosplay from the same series as friends, but I don't actually want to cosplay that character~

My cosplay plans for the year are:

Subaru, Xth version - .Hack//Link
Mima, CHAM - Perfect Blue
Ranka Lee, Nijin Iro Kuma Kuma Fairy - Macross Frontier
C.C. Cheshire Cat - Code Geass: Nunnally in wonderland (For an evening at Ayacon only and like the maid and bunny girl, it's unlikely that if I get any pictures, that they will go up here >__<)
Dead Master - Black Rock Shooter OVA

Contentions I want to attend:

Gemucon in April (Only a maybe at the moment)
London MCM Expo in May, this is where I'm hopefully doing CHAM! At the moment I'm only planning to go for one day, but someone might be able to convince me to go for the Sunday too xD)
Ayacon in August,
London MCM Expo in October, I should be going for the whole weekend this time and it's where I'll most likely cosplaying Dead Master! Really excited for that cosplay as I've wanted to do her since the OVA first came out!!

There are others I might attend like Midlands or Hyper Japan but it depends who's going~
